Fort Ebey State Park is a wonderful place full of hiking and mountain biking trails, campground, and some of the most beautiful views in the Northwest. It looks out into Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, across to the Olympic Mountains, Vancouver Island, and the San Juan Islands.

On pretty days with strong steady breezes, it is also a great spot for watching paragliders. The open expanse above the bluff provides plenty of take-off and landing room. The updrafts of wind along the shoreline bluffs provide plenty of lift for gliding up and down the coastline. It is a colorful and unique sight.
