It's
always refreshing to find honest, open, trusting places like Studio 4:20. It's
a very rustic studio and shop, mostly centered around arts and crafts using glass,
paint, found/recycled objects, and a bit of whimsy. The studio is special because
all of the pieces are either in the unlocked shack, hanging from trees, or on
the ground 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no supervision whatsoever. If you
want to buy something, you leave your money in the box and take your art piece
with you. And there's certainly boldness in their proudly displayed name: "4:20"
is a worldwide code word for marijuana smokers.
