Mount Catherine is a pleasant hike located east of Snoqualmie and Hyak in the Cascade Mountains. Near its summit are the rusting remains of a 1930s radio beacon used for airplanes, and otherwise it's panoramas all around. Lower, the valley below is etched out by Cold Creek and there is a forested trail to Twin Lakes, plus an ascending ridge line that connects with the Pacific Crest Trail.
