Karen gave me a gift certificate to an unpowered glider plane flight that was launched from an airfield near Arlington, Washington. It was a smooth trip up and around. The pilot gave a quick ground lesson on all of the flight controls, and while up I was able to fly the glider for a while. A little funky getting used to the lags and momentum in the controls, but definitely fun learning!
