The Whidbey Island coast is beautiful on the southeast side of Coupeville in Saratoga Passage. It is heavily forested with few homes visible, especially when hugging close to shore. Views span up and down the passage, over to Camano Island, and out to Mt Baker. Wandering further takes you to protected Holmes Harbor and into Freeland, and then onto tiny eroding Baby Island. Lots to paddle and explore!
